About the Business
Ulster Supported Employment Ltd was delighted to be among 25 organisations from across Northern Ireland celebrating additional accreditation at Gold, Silver and Bronze levels against the prestigious Investors in People (IiP) framework. In 1980 it incorporated the Workshops for the Blind and became the largest supporter of people with disabilities into open employment within Northern Ireland. Our vision is to be the best at assisting people with disabilities meet their employee aspirations.
Each year we support over 1500 people with disabilities in more than 750 companies to enter and sustain economic employment through our various employment programmes. Today the organisation spans the whole of the province with offices in Belfast, Londonderry, Portadown and Omagh. USEL is a not for profit organisation having non-departmental public body and charitable status.
